Do you have a recipe that uses eggplant as a substitute for beef? I have found that my family cannot tell the difference, so whenever a recipe calls for beef I substitute eggplant for it. Much healthier, and they have yet to catch on. Sneaky, eh? Oh well, what they don’t know won’t hurt them. Thanks for this great site, I’ll bookmark it and come back regularly. You know what I have been doing lately with green beans – sprinkling them with salt & pepper & olive oil & broiling them until crispy – this is absolutely delicious, you have to try it!!

I am making this cake for a co-workers retirement. I decided to make one to practice on before the party. The mousse I made following this recipe taste very strongly of coffee and is very grainy from the coffee grounds. Is it supposed to be that way and if not what did I do wrong?
