Blown Away

Disappointment last night, no football. Should’ve known since Sun. was the last of regular season. So I went to bed REAL early. But was able to meet Mr. Sandman almost immediately. There is a lullaby about Mr. Sandman my dad used to sing to me when going to sleep:   “Come little Jody, run up the stairs, put on your nighty, say your prayers. Ride with Mr. Sandman, til daylight comes again. See all the wonders of Wonderland, in Dream Mans dreams.”  Think I got it right.

It was windy, windy, windy this morning. Wasn’t looking forward to going out for a walk in that weather, but we did it and the early morning went something like this:

Pre workout JAY ROBB chocolate shake.

Aerobics: 40 minutes: 20 running. 10 rowing. 10 ET

Back and Tricep work out. 4 sets x 12 reps.

  • Lat pull down and one arm tricep extensions
  • Rear Delts (cables) and bent over tricep kick backs
  • Upright rows (cables) and dips
  • Seated rows and two arm tricep extensions
  • Crunches 4 x 12

Shane and I walked – didn’t really pay attention to distance or time today, but it was about 2 1/2 miles for 35 minutes, give or take.

I was ready for a nice hot breakfast and made thick, rough oats.  1/3 cup oats + 1 TBS no sugar added dried cranberries + 1/2 of 1/3 of a banana.

1 Scoop JAY ROBB chocolate protein with 1/4 cup FUZE and the other 1/2 of the 1/3 of a banana.

1 apple. That apple was a sorry little piece of fruit. I kept dipping it in my oatmeal (too lazy to get up and get a knife to chop it) to some how get the soft, tasteless thing down.

So onto another busy work day prior to year end.  Hope you have a great one and if you have all this wind as well, hold onto the trees!
