Hello NY. It’s Cold

February 5, 2009 by applec

Brrrr.  Were we complaining in FL about the weather?

It’s back to the routine today.  But that’s ok. We’re ready.  Good bye Key West…

Hello NY!

Getting back into it, the day began at 4:15AM… a little late because my alarm was messed up.

I began with the VPX shake which didn’t settle well. It takes me a day or two to get used to having a shake that early and before I work out.

Did 4.25 on the treadmill, slow run.  40 minutes of a total body workout using the cable machine. Nothing heavy – just getting things used to the workout again.  Shane and I walked 3 miles.

I really felt like I needed a completely “clean” breakfast so I had a Smooth Banana Protein Shake. 1/4 cup Cream of Rice with 3 dried prunes and a dash of Pumpkin spice.   Not the tastiest, but it hit the spot.

Note the mug? Memories of the Keys

I have some things to do before heading to work so better get to it.  One of those things is sewing up Shane’s crate liner. He decided to chew it on day 3 of our absence.  I almost knew he would.  Oh well. He’s happy we’re home now. But Donna did a great job taking care of him… he told me so.  😉

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Key West! One of our favorite vacations was there. I would like to go back. Wasn’t the food just delicious there?
