It wasn’t one of my more energetic starts this morning. In fact, Shane preferred to catch a few more zzz’s today. When the rain is falling, it is so difficult to get out of bed, so warm and soft, listening to the rain…ahhh.
I clambered out of bed at 5:15 to get ready for our morning walk, jog, or run. I sat at the top of the stairs for a few minutes to fuss Shane…a scratch, a belly rub, a kiss on the nose. Downstairs, I grabbed the leash, my hat, rain gear and was ready to go. No Shane. That little stinker went back upstair to bed! It took me 4 or 5 shouts of “Where’s Shane?” to get him back downstairs.
