Look at what I recieved from Old Bay yesterday:

oldbay

Old Bay is celebrating its 70th Anniversary this year and in celebration of its birthday and the summer season, they offered a  “Basket of the Bay” gift that included, OLD BAY Seasoning, an OLD BAY Seafood Steamer bag, some great new OLD BAY-inspired recipes to try out and additional items perfect for the summer season.

I have to try out some of the new recipes and share with the folks at Old Bay  how much we enjoyed them. Additionally, Old Bay is offering another gift bag to giveaway to readers – so you can also get a chance to try out the recipes that use OLD BAY.

Please leave a comment at the end of this post if you would like them to send you the gift bag.  Of course your name has to be picked so make sure you leave a comment and I will let you know if you win.  You do NOT have to have a blog to win…anyone is welcome to try their chances at this great gift pack from Old Bay.

Are you ready for a terrific scallop recipe?  If you win the above giveaway, you’ll get the Old Bay seasoning for free to try in this recipe.

YUM! Ryan is not a fan of scallops, and he’s going out of town this weekend. Guess what’s on my list of things to make while he’s away. 🙂

These scallops look great! Nice flavors – I love the ginger in them – and the old bay, of course! I would love to win the package, I just used old bay in my crab cakes. It does wonderful things to fish and seafood.

I love Old Bay seasoning. I use it in my crab cakes, fish cakes, seafood and vegetable soup, and in most of my steamed fish. We eat fish of some sort twice a week and I would love an Old Bay gift pack. Thanks.

Oh my my my – I would be ELATED to be such a lucky recipient… I’m a transplanted Texan (now in the midwest), and it would just make my day to have a brilliant reminder/flavor of the Gulf!

    Cheers!

I have recently rediscovered Old Bay. I have been married for 47 years and used Old Bay during the first years. I then kind of forgot about it being tempted with all of the ” new” “products that were advertised. Some time ago I saw a cole slaw recipe that used Old Bay. I purchased a new box and then went to town. I use Old Bay on almost everything. I even shared my secret with family (12 siblings) and spouses at a reunion. It is a whole new day for Old Bay.
