I did use my bread maker for this on “Sweet” setting and medium crust. It took about 2hr:50min to bake.
- 1 cup water
- 1 TBS canola oil
- 1/2 cup Black Strap molasses
- 1/2 cup Fruit Puree (or use mashed bananas)
- 2 TBS Dry Milk
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup Self Rising Flour (of course bread flour might be better… but when you don’t have any…. )
- 3 tsp yeast
Add to your bread maket basket in accordance with the mfr. instructions. They are all different. The order above is how my breadmaker prefers it. Set to SWEET setting and in about 3 hours, enjoy the fruits of your labor!
